On August 8, 2023, I turned 64, and the second edition of Loving Mountains Loving Men was released by Ohio University Press. The book’s a collection of memoir and poetry that first appeared in 2005. The second edition includes a new cover, updated acknowledgments, an afterword, and a few new photos. Many, many thanks to OUP for publishing it!
Loving Mountains, Loving Men was the first Jeff Mann book that I ever read. As a gay Appalachian myself, it spoke to me through to my very soul. I’m anxious to get my hands on this second edition!
